The center has provided rearing management of test animals necessary for health, illness prevention and pathological physiology related nutrition sciences research since its opening in 1991.

Experimentation on animals focuses on the commonality of human and test animals’ physiology analyzing the reactions of the anatomy, organs and cells on individual level and applies the test results to human conditions.

Humidity and temperature are under strict control in the laboratories, operation rooms etc. To research on animals with ethical considerations at our university the screening and approval of the Experimental Research Animal Committee is necessary, after approval rearing and experimentation is regulated by “Nakamura Gakuen – Junior College – guidelines for animal experimentation”.
In addition, at the beginning of every year we conduct a training session and only the participating students get license.
