To improve the research on distribution sciences the institute was established by extending the predecessor laboratory in 2008.

Our intention is to contribute to the local community by providing base in western Japan for the research and education of distribution sciences.

The institute based on integrated research on distribution sciences promotes the survey- and scientific research on interdisciplinary, international themes.

At the same time, we incorporate the results into the education at the university, junior college and the working world as well as pass them to the local community.

To continue with, we invite foreign academics and key figures to our international seminars; issue activity status reports; participate in industry-academia-government cooperation; and broaden the recognition of Asia – and worldwide distribution.
