At the Faculty of Nutrition Sciences our goal is to train national registered dietitians with overall nutrition management competency combined with a broad view and considerate character through mastering advanced knowledge and skills of human nutrition. We aim at training national registered dietitians with nutrition management skills to support the public after graduation.

At clinics they provide their nutrition assessment, nutrition management proficiency to the medical team, and work in areas like health prevention, medical care, welfare and nursing care in the 21st century; and take the lead in health promotion and primary, secondary and tertiary disease prevention.

Furthermore, it is possible to acquire food specialist qualification with comprehension of health-promoting food products, research and development of food cooking/preparation and the Nutritional perspective. In addition, for those with national registered dietitian course and teacher-training course credits opens up the possibility to become nutrition and home economics teacher.

National registered dietitians work for the people requiring high moral values along with a sense of mission. In accordance with our leading principal, our job is to build students’ characters to suit this line of work.
